At The Grange Spa, we offer more than a luxury boutique spa experience. Instead, we are a close-knit team dedicated to wellbeing, stress relief, and exceptional guest care.

Importantly, we believe self-care is a necessity, not a luxury. For this reason, every detail of our spa is designed to create calm, comfort, and genuine connection.

As a family-run business established in 2009, we take pride in offering a personal and thoughtful experience for both guests and team members. Today, that same care extends to the people who work with us.

As a result of continued growth, we are now looking for a motivated individual to join our team and be part of an exciting next chapter.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and skilled full-time therapist (35–39 hours per week) to join our small and dedicated team.

Beyond technical ability, the right person will take pride in delivering treatments with care, confidence, and attention to detail. At the same time, they will share our values of humility, teamwork, continuous learning, and outstanding service.

Experience with professional skincare and spa brands is highly desirable. In particular, we work with Thalgo and Pinks Boutique, so familiarity with these brands is an advantage. However, we also welcome applicants who have worked with other professional product houses and are keen to learn and develop further.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver exceptional spa treatments, including massage, facials, body therapies, manicures, and pedicures.

Alongside treatment delivery, high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and guest care must always be maintained.

As part of a close-knit team, collaboration plays a key role, including sharing knowledge and supporting training.

Throughout each working day, periods on reception will also form part of the role to ensure every guest feels supported.

To ensure smooth daily operations, treatment rooms and spa facilities will be set up and closed down correctly.

In addition to this, maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment is essential, as we tidy as we go.

What We Expect

To be considered for this role, a minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or Massage is required.

Ideally, candidates will have at least two years of hands-on spa experience, although luxury spa experience is a bonus.

Beyond qualifications, a genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and self-care is essential.

Equally important is a positive, humble, and team-focused mindset.

As part of our culture, a commitment to continuous professional development and training is expected.

Experience with professional product houses is also important, particularly Thalgo, Pinks Boutique, or similar brands.

In addition to core spa treatments, confidence in manicures and pedicures is required.

Finally, strong communication skills are vital, as creating meaningful wellness experiences sits at the heart of the role.

What We Offer

At The Grange Spa, you will work in a calm and beautiful environment where treatment schedules are carefully managed.

As a result, RSI points are monitored to ensure an even and varied balance of treatments.

Alongside this, ongoing training and development are provided, because learning never stops.

In return, you will become part of a supportive and close-knit team that values collaboration.

Furthermore, we offer a competitive salary, plus commission on both treatments and retail sales.

In addition, staff benefits include:

Use of the gym and spa facilities outside working hours
A complimentary monthly treatment
A Christmas gathering and regular social events

This is a full-time position (35–39 hours per week).

As we are closed on Sundays and Mondays, shifts run Tuesday to Saturday:

8:00am–4:30pm
9:00am–5:00pm
10:00am–6:30pm
One late shift every other Thursday (11:00am–9:00pm)

Likewise, it may not suit those who prefer working independently without shared responsibility.

If high standards, feedback, or continuous improvement feel uncomfortable, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.

Similarly, therapists who wish to focus only on treatments may struggle with the wider expectations of the role.

For this reason, the role will not suit anyone unwilling to support reception duties or daily setup and close-down.

Finally, as we are a small and close-knit team, this environment may not appeal to those who prefer large, anonymous workplaces.
