After 20 years as a therapist I have to admit it's the question I hear most from new clients. So here are my simple top 5 tips to help you to create a good evening skincare routine that works for you.
MOST IMPORTANTLY adapt the routine to suit you!
If you’re stuck for time or have no other routine than a wash in the shower then start small. Cleansing is the first step, even if it’s just one cleanse, then once you’ve formed a new habit (yes it will happen! Keep it up for a minimum of 28days and after that it will become as much as your bedtime routine as brushing your teeth!) then add in a moisturiser or night balm, once you see and feel the difference the results will ensure you keep it up.
Last of all yes the products used really do make a difference - if you don’t feel a difference with your current products or if they irritate your skin in anyway then make a change.
